From its design to its color, Gucci has been a brand for over 60 years.
But now the label has a new look.
“Gucci’s new look will be more like the brand’s heritage,” Gucci’s VP of fashion, Alix Guarino, told reporters at the launch of the collection.
“It will be bold and playful.”
The new look won’t just be the brand going retro with its latest silhouettes and jackets, but also with its lookbook.
According to Gucci, the collection is the company’s first in-depth look at the heritage of the label.
“We have a lot of history,” Guarinos said, “but this is the first time we’re going to put together a whole history, with all the history and all the influences, and it’s going to have a much bigger impact on our customers and the people we work with.”
The collection, which will be released in three shades of gray, will be available at select retailers this fall.
The collection is based on the Gucci range that was created in 1967 by the late Carlo Gucci.
The Gucci logo was inspired by the crest of the Italian fashion house, and the color palette includes a mix of black, red, yellow and orange.
