A mysterious crowd of shoppers has been spotted at the top of a mall in Los Angeles with a pile of cash in their purses and a few bags of expensive merchandise.
The shoppers were spotted at Nordas flagship store in Beverly Hills, according to Los Angeles Times, which said they had been in the store for over two hours.
They were seen walking down a hallway with cash and other items.
They had large bags on their person and were seen talking about the amount of money they had.
They did not stop to speak to the camera, but walked off.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident and is seeking information from the public, the newspaper reported.
The LA Times also reported that the shoppers were wearing matching leather jackets, while the clothing store was offering its signature gel-filled gel coats for sale for $129.99.
Nordstrom said on its website that “it is a priority to treat customers with respect and compassion, and that we take this matter very seriously.”
